Blizzard Entertainment posted a new advertisement featuring the Overwatch: Origins Edition for PC, Xbox One and PS4 consoles. The advertisement redirects to https://buyoverwatch.com/, however the website is currently offline. It might be brought online shortly after BlizzCon’s Opening Ceremony.
Blizzard listed Overwatch to be launched on Spring 2016, however it also states: “Expected Game release is on or before June 21st, 2016.”
Additionally, the Overwatch: Origins Edition pre-purchase deal comes with a Noir Widowmaker skin.
GameInformer (owned by parent Gamestop) confirmed that Blizzard Entertainment authorized its retailers to tell customers about the Overwatch (Xbox One) and Overwatch (PS4) versions.
Blizzard might make an official announcement at BlizzCon 2015 tomorrow — November 6th. Keep an eye on any updates, or purchase a virtual ticket to watch it online.
GameStop (Disclosure: GameStop is Game Informer’s parent company) has received word that Blizzard’s Overwatch is console-bound. The retailer has been told it can start telling customers about the unannounced versions.
We spoke with a local store that indicates it received an email from the corporation indicating that the game will be full-priced on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. All versions are listed at $59.99, with a placeholder date of December 31, 2016. — source
During the Activision Blizzard 2015 Q3 Financial Results conference call, held today at 5am PDT, Blizzard Entertainment CEO Mike Morhaime announced that over seven million players opted-in to join the Overwatch Beta. Blizzard will continue to add new players via invitation waves. There are no beta keys and there won’t be emails. Blizzard manually flags the user’s account to enable the install button in the Battle.net Launcher.

Did you miss news about Overwatch ? Well cheer up love, the cavalry’s here with some interesting news.
Today the different Overwatch accounts published on Twitter some wanted posters. As you might already think they could be related to future playable characters. Of course they are not as charismatic as Tracer or Lúcio, but they do have some nice psychopath heads.
From a personal point of view, I do believe that the character wearing a gas mask is already present in one of the official Overwatch artwork, as Lúcio was already present in the trailer.
A few weeks ago, thousands of gamers beheld the awesome life-sized Overwatch statues sculpted by FX Déco. We posted photos of these statues (taken by our staff member @Handclaw) for those interested. Video of The Making of the Overwatch statues is now online to watch.
This is not a GamesCom 2015 preview. This 7-minute gameplay video was posted by Blizzard today Aug 11 to showcase Lucio in action, and whoever played it reached Top 3 in that match. So he’s definitely a pretty good DPS and support character, as he heals his teammates too. This video takes place in the Numbani map.
Around 00:03:40, you can see Lucio’s Sonic Amplifier ability used to knockback Hanzo off the terrace to fall to his death.
Lucio can dodge enemy damage by accelerating his speed and literally racing on the wall for a short time. That’s racing along the wall, not climbing. That’s Hanzo.
Get some popcorn and sit tight to watch this Lucio Gameplay video. Overwatch beta begins this Fall 2015. Stay tuned.
