Doomfist

Doomfist’s cybernetics make him a highly-mobile, powerful frontline fighter. In addition to dealing ranged damage with his Hand Cannon, Doomfist can slam the ground, knock enemies into the air and off balance, or charge into the fray with his Rocket Punch. When facing a tightly packed group, Doomfist leaps out of view, then crashes down to earth with a spectacular Meteor Strike.

Intelligent. Charismatic. A tactician. A leader of Talon. Doomfist brings both his cunning and strength to the battlefield.

Heir to a cybernetics company in Nigeria, Akande Ogundimu studied martial arts and other fighting styles, finding strength through conflict. Following an accident that claimed his right arm, he took on the mantle of Doomfist and found new purpose in Talon—until his defeat and capture by an Overwatch strike team.

Now Doomfist has returned, driven by his belief that the world can only evolve through conflict—and that those who rise up will be remembered forever.

Doomfist Abilities

The left-click button triggers the Hand Cannon which shoots 4 darts from Doomfist's left-hand knuckles. These recharge over time coming out from each knuckle. After the initial four are shot, the innermost knuckle continues to shoot nonstop by keeping the button pressed. To reload the four knuckles, don't press the button for 4 seconds.

Doomfist fires a short-range burst from the knuckles of his fist. Its ammunition is automatically regenerated over a short time.

Doomfist channels Rocket Punch for 3 seconds then charges punching the target from about 15 yards. Has a 4-sec cooldown.

After charging up, Doomfist lunges forward and knocks an enemy back, dealing additional damage if they impact a wall.

The Rising Uppercut does as it is named. It is triggered by the scroll-button. 7-sec cooldown.

Doomfist uppercuts enemies in front of him into the air.

Doomfist leaps forward 5 yards, and punches the ground with Seismic Slam. 7-sec cooldown.

Doomfist leaps forward and smashes into the ground, knocking nearby enemies toward him.

Meteor Strike happens on the spot Doomfist is standing at. He goes high into the air, and after 3 seconds he lands causing a lot of damage in an area (probably half the area range of D.va's self-destruct explosion)

Doomfist leaps into the sky, then crashes to the ground, dealing significant damage.

This is a passive ability that generates shield each time Doomfist lands an ability upon an enemy. The blue bars in the Health bar in the image below shows how much shields Doomfist got after casting the Ultimate on Torbjorn. However, the shield slowly decreases over time if no enemy is attacked.

Doomfist generates temporary personal shields when he deals ability damage.

Talon Involvement Confirmed in Previous Attack on Helix Facility

New Details Surface Following Major Security Breach

NUMBANI —Three months after initial reports of an incident at Helix Security International's classified maximum security installation, a more complete picture of what happened has emerged. Information and details of what happened were scarce as has been any news from the installation, said to be a prison for the world's most dangerous threats. However, after recent events in Numbani, it can now be confirmed that what occurred was an attack by the Talon organization with the express purpose of freeing one man: Akande Ogundimu, better known as Doomfist. It began in the early hours of the morning, when an unidentified aircraft approached the facility. Security initially reported that the craft had no passengers on board, based on radar scans. The craft passed through the range of the installation's defense systems without incident, leading some to believe that Talon has moles within Helix. Video surveillance from within the compound revealed a black shadowy figure emerging from the craft and descending upon the prison grounds. The unidentified assailant easily overcame the Helix security agents, leaving over a dozen dead. Medical records of the casualties reveal injuries and cellular degeneration matching other incidents involving the mercenary known as the Reaper, all but confirming the incursion as a Talon attack. Helix officials have been unwilling to reveal whether or not there were additional escapees or items taken from the facility, but sources have indicated that it is likely that there were further security breaches in addition to Ogundimu.

After escaping from the facility, Helix lost track of Ogundimu until he resurfaced in Numbani, where he clashed with the newly introduced OR15 defense robots at the Adawe International Terminal, easily destroying them and reclaiming the Doomfist. Questions have been raised about the effectiveness and methodology of Helix, which in recent years, has greatly increased its profile as the world's security force. But after a number of high profile incidents, including the breach of a similarly top-secret facility in Egypt, those who have objected to the increased privatization of security following the shuttering of Overwatch will have been dismayed that Helix has requested, and been granted, additional funding by the UN to cope with rising threats.

Orisa Abilities

Orisa’s automatic projectile cannon delivers sustained damage, but slows her movement while she fires it. .

Orisa throws out a stationary barrier that can protect her and her allies from enemy fire.

Orisa temporarily reduces damage she takes, and cannot be affected by action-impairing effects.

Orisa launches a graviton charge which she can detonate, slowing nearby enemies and pulling them towards the explosion.

Orisa deploys a device to increase damage inflicted by allies within her line of sight.

Sombra Facts: Is Sombra Human or an Advanced AI?

Some official Overwatch forum members and some people in Reddit have given up on Sombra being the next hero, speculating that Sombra is a god program (AI) or even an Omnic. Well, I wish to clear your mind of those terrible baseless thoughts if they have sway you into misinformation. If anything, she might be an enhanced human (like Genji, Torbjörn, or McCree with cybernetic implants).

I’ll give you facts that Sombra is a person and not an AI as some people are now claiming.

REAPER QUOTE

There is an audio file where Reaper says: “Where is Sombra when you need her?” — that states two things: Sombra is a person; and she is either a member of the Talon (Overwatch’s nemesis organization) or a neutral associate of the Talon. In addition, these dialogues are mostly referring to other members in your team or in the opposite team. Reaper is in a difficult situation, and he wishes Sombra was there assisting his team.

OVERWATCH COMICS

Did you know that Sombra was mentioned in the Official Overwatch Comics? If you didn’t … take a look.

In the official Overwatch Comics: “Ana: Old Soldiers” by Michael Chu — Reaper says to Hakim: “No excuses. For your sake, hope Sombra can get something useful out of this.”

They are talking about Helix locking down after the incident. That Helix Security International doesn’t know what they are protecting. Thus, Sombra is working on hacking to extract intel before infiltrating The Temple of Anubis.

SOMBRA IMAGE IN NEWSPAPER

Go to the El Dorado map. Head to the market area in Calle del Mercado. Search for the food car with the sign: Tortas Tacos. On the ground, you will notice an open newspaper.

sombra-newspaper

You will find the following image of Sombra. She is either wearing a hoodie, or the area that “seems” to be a hoodie could be long curly hair.

I was able to zoom and brighten the image and this AI or Omnic has some serious sexy legs to be one, don’t you think?

New Hero revealed: Ana, the Support Sniper

Ana: “Everyone must find their cause.” print_ana

Support Role : Support

Real Name Real Name : Ana Amari, Age: 60

Occupation Occupation : Bounty Hunter

Base of Operation Base of operations : Cairo, Egypt

Affiliation Affiliation : Overwatch (formerly)

  • One of the founding members of Overwatch, Ana uses her skills and expertise to defend her home and the people she cares for.

As the Omnic Crisis inflicted a heavy toll on Egypt, the country's depleted and undermanned security forces relied on elite snipers for support. Among them was Ana Amari, who was widely considered to be the world's best. Her superior marksmanship, decision-making, and instincts made her a natural selection to join the Overwatch strike team that would end the war.

Following the success of Overwatch's original mission, Ana served for many years as Strike Commander Morrison's second-in-command. Despite her responsibilities in leading the organization, Ana refused to step away from combat operations. She remained on active duty well into her fifties, until she was believed to have been killed during a hostage rescue mission by the Talon operative known as Widowmaker.

In truth, Ana survived that encounter, despite being gravely wounded and losing her right eye. During her recovery, she wrestled with the weight of a life spent in combat, and she chose to stay out of the world's growing conflicts. However, as time passed, she realized she could not sit on the sidelines while people threatened her city and the innocents around her.

Now, Ana has rejoined the fight to protect her country from the forces that would destabilize it, and most importantly, to keep her family and her closest allies safe.

  • Biotic Rifle

Ana’s rifle shoots darts that can restore health to her allies or deal ongoing damage to her enemies. She can use the rifle’s scope to zoom in on targets and make highly accurate shots.

    Sleep Dart

Ana fires a dart from her sidearm, rendering an enemy unconscious (though any damage will rouse them).

    Biotic Grenade

Ana tosses a biotic bomb that deals damage to enemies and heals allies in a small area of effect. Affected allies briefly receive increased healing from all sources, while enemies caught in the blast cannot be healed for a few moments.

    Nano Boost

After Ana hits one of her allies with a combat boost, they temporarily move faster, deal more damage, and take less damage from enemies’ attacks.
