Orisa serves as the central anchor of her team, and defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once.
The stars are aligning for the announcement of the new Overwatch hero: Sombra. Those who are members of Comixology and subscribed to the Overwatch Comics series will get a notification stating the next Comics issue will arrive on OCTOBER 12.
If you have been following our Overwatch news or somewhere else, you should know about the AMomentInCrime.com website which is estimated to reach 100% on October 12.
If true, Sombra possibly might hit the PTR on Tuesday 11th and hit live servers right in time for Halloween and the Mexican Day of the Death celebration which starts on October 31 and ends November 2.
Some official Overwatch forum members and some people in Reddit have given up on Sombra being the next hero, speculating that Sombra is a god program (AI) or even an Omnic. Well, I wish to clear your mind of those terrible baseless thoughts if they have sway you into misinformation. If anything, she might be an enhanced human (like Genji, Torbjörn, or McCree with cybernetic implants).
I’ll give you facts that Sombra is a person and not an AI as some people are now claiming.
There is an audio file where Reaper says: “Where is Sombra when you need her?” — that states two things: Sombra is a person; and she is either a member of the Talon (Overwatch’s nemesis organization) or a neutral associate of the Talon. In addition, these dialogues are mostly referring to other members in your team or in the opposite team. Reaper is in a difficult situation, and he wishes Sombra was there assisting his team.
Did you know that Sombra was mentioned in the Official Overwatch Comics? If you didn’t … take a look.
In the official Overwatch Comics: “Ana: Old Soldiers” by Michael Chu — Reaper says to Hakim: “No excuses. For your sake, hope Sombra can get something useful out of this.”
They are talking about Helix locking down after the incident. That Helix Security International doesn’t know what they are protecting. Thus, Sombra is working on hacking to extract intel before infiltrating The Temple of Anubis.
SOMBRA IMAGE IN NEWSPAPER
Go to the El Dorado map. Head to the market area in Calle del Mercado. Search for the food car with the sign: Tortas Tacos. On the ground, you will notice an open newspaper.
You will find the following image of Sombra. She is either wearing a hoodie, or the area that “seems” to be a hoodie could be long curly hair.
I was able to zoom and brighten the image and this AI or Omnic has some serious sexy legs to be one, don’t you think?
One of the founding members of Overwatch, Ana uses her skills and expertise to defend her home and the people she cares for.
As the Omnic Crisis inflicted a heavy toll on Egypt, the country's depleted and undermanned security forces relied on elite snipers for support. Among them was Ana Amari, who was widely considered to be the world's best. Her superior marksmanship, decision-making, and instincts made her a natural selection to join the Overwatch strike team that would end the war.
Following the success of Overwatch's original mission, Ana served for many years as Strike Commander Morrison's second-in-command. Despite her responsibilities in leading the organization, Ana refused to step away from combat operations. She remained on active duty well into her fifties, until she was believed to have been killed during a hostage rescue mission by the Talon operative known as Widowmaker.
In truth, Ana survived that encounter, despite being gravely wounded and losing her right eye. During her recovery, she wrestled with the weight of a life spent in combat, and she chose to stay out of the world's growing conflicts. However, as time passed, she realized she could not sit on the sidelines while people threatened her city and the innocents around her.
Now, Ana has rejoined the fight to protect her country from the forces that would destabilize it, and most importantly, to keep her family and her closest allies safe.
Ana’s rifle shoots darts that can restore health to her allies or deal ongoing damage to her enemies. She can use the rifle’s scope to zoom in on targets and make highly accurate shots.
Ana fires a dart from her sidearm, rendering an enemy unconscious (though any damage will rouse them).
Ana tosses a biotic bomb that deals damage to enemies and heals allies in a small area of effect. Affected allies briefly receive increased healing from all sources, while enemies caught in the blast cannot be healed for a few moments.
After Ana hits one of her allies with a combat boost, they temporarily move faster, deal more damage, and take less damage from enemies’ attacks.
Zarya is a heavily shielded tank that uses barriers to protect herself and her allies. Fire her weapon’s primary beam at nearby enemies, and its secondary fire at long range. The Graviton Surge pulls enemies into it and damages them.
Roadhog is a very sturdy tank that can take heavy damage and heal himself. Use Chain Hook to pull vulnerable heroes close then blast them with your Scrap Gun. RoadHog can push the entire enemy team away from a map objective in addition to dealing damage.
Real Name: Mako Rutledge, Age: 48
Occupation: Enforcer (formerly), Bodyguard
Base of Operations: Junkertown, Australia (formerly)
Junkrat uses a variety of explosives to wreak havoc on the battlefield. Use the knockback from your own Concussion Mine to quickly reposition yourself. RIP-Tire can devastate a group of enemies if they don’t destroy it first.
D.Va pilots a heavily armored tank with a Defense Matrix that can destroy enemy projectiles. Use Boosters to reposition quickly, then attack with your short range Fusion Cannons. After ejecting, fight using your Light Gun so you can call another mech to you.
Genji is a nimble offensive hero that can leap, climb walls, and dash in and out of combat. Use deflect to turn the power of enemy attacks against them. When Genji unsheathes his dragonblade, his strikes deal massive damage at close range.
“Even if I sacrifice my body, I will never sacrifice my honor.”
Hanzo excels at killing enemies at long range with his bow. Sonic Arrow reveals the location of nearby enemies. Use Dragonstrike to clear enemies from an objective.
Real Name: Hanzo Shimada, Age: 38
Occupation: Mercenary, Assassin
Base of Operations: Hanamura, Japan (formerly)
Affiliation: Shimada Clan
Hanzo nocks and fires an arrow at his target.
Hanzo launches an arrow that contains a sonar tracking device. Any enemy within its detection radius is visibly marked, making them easier for Hanzo and his allies to hunt down.
Hanzo shoots a fragmenting arrow that ricochets off walls and objects and can strike multiple targets at once.
Hanzo summons a Spirit Dragon which travels through the air in a line. It passes through walls in its way, devouring any enemies it encounters.
Mastering his skills as a bowman and an assassin, Hanzo Shimada strives to prove himself as a warrior without peer.
The Shimada family was established centuries ago, a clan of assassins whose power grew over the years, enabling them to build a vast criminal empire that profited from lucrative trade in arms and illegal substances. As the eldest son of the family's head, Hanzo was bound by duty to succeed his father and rule the Shimada empire. From a young age, he was trained for that responsibility, displaying a natural aptitude for leadership and possessing an innate understanding of strategy and tactics. He also excelled in more practical areas: he was a prodigy in martial arts, swordplay, and bowmanship.
Upon the death of his father, the clan elders instructed Hanzo to straighten out his wayward younger brother so that he, too, might help rule the Shimada empire. When his brother refused, Hanzo was forced to kill him. This act broke Hanzo's heart and drove him to reject his father's legacy, ultimately leading him to abandon the clan and all that he had worked so hard to attain.
Now, Hanzo travels the world, perfecting his skills as a warrior, attempting to restore his honor and put the ghosts of his past to rest.
