Sombra ARG: LumériCo Email Corruption

November 1 is here already, and the LumériCo website is getting hammered with tons of traffic from fans pressing F5 to reload the page, causing a real life outage of service. Sometimes the page give a Bad Gateway 502 error message.

The latest update is found in María Jiménez’s webmail. Two new emails titled: Email Corruption and Admin Terminal Blocked. Accessing the Admin section in her webmail now has a warning message:

“All unathorized access will be prosecuted with all the extent of the law. All commands will be recorded and controlled by a whole team of IT engineers.”

    Subject: Security Protection Briefing

I need you all to have a demonstration of the new protection routine ready for the executives at the end of the week.

It will happen in a closed perimeter of less than 200 meters, and it is a kidnapping attempt of an executive (a real actor, not another soccer ball). Our enemies double us in numbers, omnics included; the executive personnel must be able to listen to all communications during the demonstration.

First, we'll draw a diagram in our office.

Prices are the same as last year (half goes to charity) and they have got new flavors: Delight Chum-Chum and Sugar Cane Surprise! Let me know if you want any.

    Subject: Station 4 Status

There was no damage from the perimeter intrusion we suffered yesterday, only the intrusion, but both happened at the same time, which makes me suspect they were a coordinated effort. Peraza was followed to his home from Station 4 by an unidentified group (they weren't protesters). His report is attached. I have placed im into a supervised week of suspension.

Our knowledge of the situation are yet limited. I'll add another shift in all locations until we launch the new plant. Guillermo asked us not to postpone our progress due to the animosities of this scandal.

Today I heard unacceptable conversations. Everybody must let the police to take care of the protests and manifestations, under penalty of getting fired or lawsuit. Do not take action unless it's totally necessary to protect our personnel. This people are confused, but they are our people.
